- You contribute to the conceptual development and construction of IT architecture in the space sector
- You design, build and operate an IT infrastructure for highly secure applications
- You review technical requirements in cross-functional collaboration
- You ensure the necessary development, testing and production systems, including networks
- You evaluate and select systems as well as software components
- You define configurations and system integrations, considering subsystems such as data center, virtualization and security
- You contribute ideas and solutions to ensure and further develop stable systems
- You create and maintain the system documentation
What you should bring with you
- Completed degree in computer science or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience as DevOps or System Engineer, an advantage if in the space context
- Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux systems as well as networking technologies
- Architecture expertise in virtual server environments is an advantage
- Experience in the space sector with TMTC and onboard computers is an advantage
- Strong hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and excellent self-management
- Solution-oriented and connected thinking mindset
- EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (due to security screening)
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken) with German skills (advantageous)
