- You are responsible for planning, designing and managing the space program's data architecture
- You develop models and structures for storing and accessing large volumes of data
- You integrate data sources (e.g. satellites, ground stations) and implement interfaces
- You maintain the data throughout its entire lifecycle
- You ensure data quality and compliance with necessary security and compliance standards
- You implement systems for processing and analyzing the data
- You ensure the scalability of the data infrastructure to meet future requirements and growing data volumes
- You ensure high availability, reliability and performance of the data infrastructure
- You define access policies and ensure the data is protected from misuse
- You actively exchange ideas with other architects to ensure the data architecture meets the overall system requirements
What you should bring with you
- Completed degree in computer science, data science or a related discipline
- Several years of professional experience in data architecture, data engineering, and/or data management
- Professional experience in the space field and with Dev(Sec)Ops structures
- Strong hands-on mentality, self-management skills and a proactive attitude
- Solution-oriented, connected thinking mindset and an eye for complex structures and processes
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of proactive stakeholder management
- EU and/or CH work permit and no entries in public registers (due to security screening)
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken) with German skills (advantageous)
